Namtib Desert Lodge

At Namtib Desert Lodge you’ll find typical Namibian rustic farm style accommodation. The lodge has 5 double/twin rooms, 1 family room and two single rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The small size of the lodge guarantees a personal experience, since the owners attend to guests personally which lets the visitor feel part of NAMTIB’s family.

Little Hunter's Rest Campsite

This option is for traveller wishing to find a true desert and wilderness experience. 5 camping sites spaced far apart under large camelthorn trees, ensure an unforgettable stay. The campsite features one communal ablution building with showers and toilets and each individual site has its own barbeque facility.

Landscape

The landscape of NAMTIB is a natural hiker’s paradise. Discover it’s untouched beauty on your own or join on a guided hike through the mountains or in the neighbouring dunes of the Namib in the Garub-Koichab Concession area. The newly built botanical trail will provide you with an insight into the vast diversity of plants occurring in our delicate environment. On the popular nature drive you’ll get a look behind the scenes into the life on a farm at the edge of the desert, gaining information on fauna and flora and the conservation efforts.
