An Overview

Fly in safaris are the perfect way to cover a variety of destinations in our vast, extensive country with a km range of 2500 km from North to South. Remote places can be accessed easily at optimal time. Namibia provides a spectacular view from a bird’s eye perspective for the discerning traveler. Qualified commercial pilots from reputable charter companies are engaged to fly you safely between the various destinations. Fly in safaris are mostly tailor-made to suit clients requirements and available time-span. Fly-ins can also be offered on set departure dates or based on ‘seat-rates‘ with other passengers going to the same destination. Acacia Namibia, your booking office in Namibia, can advise prospective clients on the best strategy and is able to book your preferred Lodges, charter flights and ground arrangements.

Guestfarms or exclusive Lodges: Stay 2 or more nights at any of our "preferred lodges".

Caprivi: Explore the lush wetlands of Namibia’s northern destinations on your 2-3 night extension to your self-drive safari or scheduled tour – various lodges can be offered

Kunene/Border to Angola: see the splendor of Epupa Falls or visit the remote region of Marienfluss at exclusive Serra Cafema Camp –recommended stay 2-3 nights.

Victoria Falls: see Special Offers

Fish River: View the magnificent Canyon from a bird's eye view and explore the rugged granite landscape at Vogelfeder Lodge or Canyon Lodge.

These are suggested itineraries only and can be tailor-made according to your wishes (except if a pre-set & scheduled departure is offered). Reservations will only be done if a tour has been confirmed and accommodation is subject to availability. Should properties have to be changed due to unavailability; price will have to be adjusted. The ideal Number of guests to share the plane (economically and space-wise) is four(4). Charter-companies offer a wide range of planes ranging from single engine Cessna 210’s (4-5 seaters) to Cessna 408’s (6-8 seaters) or Caravans (12 seaters), suitable for group size. Most Namibian Guest farms and more remote destinations are most ideally reached by smaller planes.
